Mr. Fauzi introduced Adobe Photoshop (Ps) to us and taught us the importance of Photoshop. Some of it includes express our creativity, restoration of old images, change photo color and integrate graphics with text artistically. Besides, he also told us tips on becoming a successful graphic designer, such as try to replicate others work, follow tutorials, participate in design competitions and many more.

Description: I like how it illustrates what you see is not always what it portrays. It illustrates that they are having a happy and harmonious life for the top half while the girl is seen to be shackled and beaten by her parents on the other half. The shackles might represent the high expectations of her parents to her as she seems helpless. Besides, I also like the anime style of the people drawn.

Description: I like this illustration as it is a character that I respect from an anime called “one piece”. Besides, the 3 colors show the main color for the character. The lines at the back of the character provide texture to the background. Moreover, the word below defines the meaning of mochi, which is the power of the character in the anime.

Description: I like how this illustration portrays the chances of success and failure are equal. Besides, it also encourages me to keep trying despite facing failure in life as there are other paths in life that might make you happy or successful. Furthermore, it shows that the elder woman who is standing is trying to support the younger girl, who is most likely her daughter or sister.

4. 5 Corporation Posters (By IC4 Design)

Description: When I first saw this poster, I was impressed by the illustration, which also expresses the message.


This Poster expressed : 

This illustration is for 5 Corporation’s “5 Days,” a private preparatory school in Japan.

The theme of this time is "Summer Special Training".

The concept is "Let's enjoy and study during the summer".

Create ‘5’ island and ‘5’ is the symbol of this corporation.

It shows children are studying by themselves.


I've followed the instructions Mr. Fauzi to create an e-portfolio blog, a pinterest board, and selected 3 of my favorite graphic design composition works.
